How to Return a DDI Number

 

To return a number, you need to remove any associating this number has,

it could be linked to an extension, a group, a site or the company’s outgoing caller ID to name a few.

 

The complete list will be displayed at the end of this KB.

 

To return a number, go to the Reseller Portal > Customer > Modify Existing Customer > select the customer > Change Order.

In Change Order go to Number Ordering, in there you can select DDIs to be returned.

 

 

Select the DDIs you want to return

 

 

And use the arrow to the right to move them to be returned

 

 

Then you just need to go and Submit Order, and click on Save and Submit Order.

 

 

To finalize the return, you need to final confirm this order as usual.

 

If you cannot find the DDI you want to return in the list, you will need to check where this DDI is being used.

 

 

It could be under the Company Outgoing caller ID

 

 

Under Site Management:

 

 

On in use under a user

 

 

Or anywhere where the Outgoing caller ID is pointed to the number you want to return.

You can modify the Outgoing caller ID to make the DDI you want to return free to be returned.

 

Also, delete any routing you could have under DDI Summary for that DDI.
